Flower delivery to Plánice from Klatovy

Plánice lies 12 kilometres east of Klatovy. The town's first written record dates to 1329. The municipal office, including the registry office, is based in the Empire-style town hall on the square.

Plánice has a castle, originally a Renaissance fortress, and a column bearing a statue of the Holy Trinity dating from around 1742. The Church of St Blaise, whose construction began in 1755, stands on a slope away from the square. The František Křižík Museum is housed in the inventor's birthplace.
